This weekend, at the No 1 British Flying Training School Museum in the no-longer sleepy little cotton-gin town of Terrell TX, surviving cadets, instructors, their families and friends, townspeople and tourists will join together to recognize the honor and valor of veterans of all service branches
Friday night: dinner and dance with "The Andrews Sisters"
Saturday: Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by fly-in of vintage planes and lecture by Tom Killebrew, author of The RAF in Texas.
Sunday: Memorial service honoring the 20 RAF cadets who lost their lives while in training at #1 BFTS, 1940-1945.
